Job summary

Dohrn Transfer is seeking a part-time Dockworker at our Weston, WI terminal to support loading, unloading and movement of freight. The role requires handling cartons, pallets and equipment on a regular schedule from 4:00pm to 9:00pm, Monday through Friday, with a starting pay of $22.67 per hour and $26.52 after the first anniversary.

Qualifications

• Must have command of English language with reading, writing and communication abilities.
• Must be able to read shipping labels and follow loading instructions.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs frequently and 100+ lbs infrequently.

Responsibilities

• Convey freight to and from trailers and storage areas by hand or with forklifts.
• Load and unload freight according to DOT requirements on/off trucks.
• Sort and secure items on trucks to prevent damage.
• Perform paperwork daily and comply with safety regulations.
