Job summary

Dohrn Transfer is seeking a Full Time Dockworker at our Janesville Terminal. Pay starts at USD $22.67/hour and increases to $26.52/hour on your first anniversary.

Hours are Monday-Friday, 4:00pm–12:30am, with essential duties including loading/unloading freight and moving items by hand or with forklifts. Qualifications include a minimum age of 18, high school diploma or equivalent, ability to pass a non-DOT physical and drug test, and the ability to lift up to 100+ lbs.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate effectively in English with customers and coworkers.
• Able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs frequently and 100+ lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading freight on/off trucks using hand tools or forklift.
• Convey freight to and from trailers and storage areas safely and efficiently.
• Follow DOT requirements and company policies for handling materials.
