Dohrn Transfer in Janesville, Wisconsin is seeking a full-time Dockworker to join our team. You will help move freight to and from trailers by hand or with forklifts and hand trucks, and you will load/unload according to DOT rules.

Starting pay is $22.67 per hour with a progression to $26.52 per hour after your first anniversary. Benefits include health, vision, dental, 401k matching, life insurance, and disability coverage. This is a hands-on dock role with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School completion or equivalent.
• Must pass a NON-DOT physical exam and functional screen.
• Must consent to a pre-employment drug screen with negative result.
• Ability to read/write English and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Move freight to/from trailers by hand or with forklifts and hand trucks.
• Load/unload freight according to DOT requirements.
• Sort and secure items on trucks to prevent damage.
• Operate or assist with material handling equipment as needed.
• Perform paperwork and follow safety and company policies.
