Job summary

Vivie in Minnesota is seeking a part-time server to provide dining service to residents with a focus on hospitality and safety. The role runs 18 hours per pay period from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., including alternating weekends and holidays, with compensation between $15.10 and $18.50 per hour.

You will assist with seating, guide meal selections, maintain a clean dining area, and support in both dining and kitchen spaces while following infection-control procedures.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English for effective communication with staff, clients, and visitors.
• Experience in dining services, food handling, or customer service preferred but not required.
• Successful completion of a state-mandated background check.
• Ability to follow emergency protocols.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Exceptional Dining Service - assist with seating, build relationships with residents and guests, help with meal selections.
• Ensure Safety and Sanitation - set/clear tables, maintain cleanliness of flatware and glassware, dishwashing, and housekeeping tasks per safety rules.
• Communicate Effectively - proactive communication with residents and team members.
• Other Duties as Assigned - support in special projects and attend trainings and meetings.
