You may be exactly who we're looking for.
RKG Law is seeking a full-time Estate Administration Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our Lancaster County team.
Maybe you’ve worked in estate administration before. Or maybe your background is in bookkeeping, accounting, banking, or another detail-driven role where accuracy matters, deadlines matter, and people count on you to keep things organized.
Either way, we’d like to talk.
Estate administration involves assets, accounts, deadlines, documents, beneficiaries, tax-related information and plenty of details. It also involves people who may be navigating an unfamiliar process while grieving the loss of someone they love.
Our job is to help make that process as accurate, organized and manageable as possible—and the person in this role will play an important part in making that happen.
We’re looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with numbers and good with people. Someone who enjoys getting the details right, can patiently guide a client through an unfamiliar process, and takes pride in making people feel like they’re in good hands.
Estate administration experience is helpful, but not required. We’re also interested in candidates with backgrounds in:
Strong organizational, communication and critical-thinking skills, sound judgment and comfort with technology are important.
We work extensively in Filevine, our legal practice management platform, and Lackner, our estate administration software. Experience with either is a bonus; curiosity, adaptability and a willingness to learn are essential. Strong Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel skills will also serve you well.
This is a full-time, primarily in-office position based in Lancaster. Limited remote work may be possible when needed, but we’re looking for someone who wants to be part of an in-person team.
You’ll primarily work from our Lancaster office, with occasional local travel to the Lancaster County Courthouse and our Ephrata and Willow Street offices. Reliable transportation is required.
We offer a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications, along with benefits including group health insurance and a 401(k) plan.
More importantly, we’re looking for someone who wants to become part of a team, grow into the role and take real ownership of their work.
If you’re naturally organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with numbers and curious enough to ask questions and willing to learn, we’d like to hear from you.
You don’t have to check every box. If you bring the right combination of people skills, numbers skills, organization and curiosity, we hope you’ll apply.
