Chesterfield County Public Schools is seeking an ESL Instructional Tutor (TWA) for on-site, part-time work in the ESL Office. The role focuses on providing intervention support aligned with Virginia Standards of Learning, working with lead teachers to develop a differentiated support model, and guiding students toward mastery goals.

The position emphasizes ability to tutor and supervise students, with a college degree preferred and a Virginia teaching license preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires general knowledge of academic skills.
• Demonstrated ability to tutor and supervise students.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, teachers, parents and staff.

Responsabilités

• Align direct support with the Virginia Standards of Learning.
• Collaborate with lead-teacher to develop support model.
• Review curriculum topics and assignments and differentiate instruction (station activities/small groups).
• Provide feedback on student progress to lead-teacher.
