The University of Minnesota's Minnesota English Language Program (MELP) invites applications for part-time adjunct Lecturer positions across terms. In this role you will plan, teach ESL courses, attend meetings, collaborate on curriculum, and assess students within a supportive, student-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Commitment to creating an inclusive environment serving a diverse community.
• MA in TESOL or closely related field by time of appointment.
• At least one semester of ESL teaching at the college or university level.
• Evidence of an excellent teaching record.
• Superior communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach one or more ESL courses in the program.
• Attend staff meetings and orientation and participate in curriculum development.
• Assess students and contribute to program duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with teachers to support student learning.
