Job summary

University of Minnesota is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach LEAD courses within the Leadership Minor in the Twin Cities campus. The role involves delivering interactive lectures, providing feedback, coaching students and interns, and aligning with course curricula.

Open to instructors who can manage partnerships and collaborate with unit staff. Part-time schedule around 10 hours per week per course section, with in-person weekday availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering teaching or training that is inclusive, interactive, accessible, and equity-driven.
• Schedule availability for open courses in LEAD curriculum.
• Knowledge of student development theory and practice.

Responsibilities

• Teach a LEAD course or courses, including engaging in-class lecture, utilizing active learning methods, providing feedback, coaching and grading student work, and mentoring Teaching Interns.
• If teaching LEAD 3971, manage 6-10 community partnerships per semester.
• Use curriculum resources to create accessible and interactive learning experiences for students.
