Job summary

North Valley High School in Grants Pass, Oregon seeks an ERC Assistant to support the school’s ERC team and assist students with special needs. This part-time position requires 8.5 hours per day, 4 days per week, totaling 155 days per year, with a starting date of immediate.

Starting pay ranges from $17.96 to $22.75 per hour. New hires are placed at Step 1 through 9 based on prior contracted education experience, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision and

• Ability to work well with special needs students.
• Understanding of age-appropriate behavioral issues.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations.
• Ability to work one-on-one or in small groups.
• Ability to discipline with dignity.
• Ability to take initiative and be self-directed.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit on floor while working with students.
• Ability to physically lift, move or restrain a student regularly.
• Must qualify or be able to meet standard for highly qualified para-professional.
