Job summary

Allied Universal in Oxford, OH seeks a part-time Security Officer Enhanced 2nd Shift to provide dependable, flexible hours at a designated site. You may earn extra by picking up additional shifts via our platform, with a fixed anchor schedule and a six-month commitment.

This role features a paid hourly rate and opportunities for progression within the industry leader. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment; driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions to site management and leadership.
• Complete accurate activity reports and communicate security-related information to management.
