Georgia Gwinnett College is accepting applications for part-time English faculty in the School of Liberal Arts for the 2026–2027 AY. Positions are semester-based and report to the Department Chair.

Courses may be delivered face-to-face, online, hybrid, or blended, and may occur mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Applicants develop curricula, assess student progress, and provide written feedback outside of class.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
• Terminal degree preferred.
• 1 year of college-level teaching preferred.
• Sustained professional engagement in the teaching field.

Responsibilities

• Develop curricula, including syllabus, lesson plans, and graded assignments.
• Review, evaluate, and recommend student learning materials.
• Evaluate students to measure progress toward course goals.
• Submit timely and accurate required paperwork related to instruction.
