Qualifications

• A minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
• Terminal degree in the teaching discipline.
• One year of college-level teaching experience.
• Sustained professional engagement demonstrating relevance and currency in the field of teaching.

Responsibilities

• Develop course curricula, including syllabus, lesson plans, and graded assignments, in accordance with upper-division program requirements and in consultation with the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs.
• Review, evaluate, and recommend student learning materials.
• Evaluate students to measure progress toward institutional and course goals.
• Submit required paperwork related to instruction in a timely and accurate manner.
