Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) is seeking a pool of qualified Part-Time Faculty to teach English courses in-person, online, or hybrid. Responsibilities include instruction, assessing student learning, and referring students to campus resources under the Department Chair's supervision.

These are temporary, non-tenure track assignments with opportunities to teach ENG 100–Composition I, ENG 101–Composition I, and ENG 102–Composition II, as staffing allows.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in English, Literature, Rhetoric, or Composition, an MFA in Creative Writing, or closely related field from an accredited institution.
• The desire to work with students, faculty, and staff from many different backgrounds.

Responsabilités

• Teach course content; assess student learning; stay current in teaching field.
• Actively refer students to supportive college resources.
• Complete professional development; use current technology; maintain ethical standards.
