Job summary

The Field Worker role with Allegheny County Department of Human Services focuses on gathering data about encampments and unsheltered sleeping locations in the Pittsburgh area to track trends and inform follow-up actions.

Reporting to the Manager of Client Experience Analytics, you will bike or use other transportation on a predefined route and use a survey app to document conditions of encampments for regular analysis.

Qualifications

• Requires bicycle or other transportation for city streets and trails.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, plus experience in business or human services setting.
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience meeting required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collect data on encampments and unsheltered locations.
• Bike routes in the city of Pittsburgh; travel in all seasons.
• Complete surveys via app documenting conditions of encampments.
• Coordinate with supervisor on information collected.
