Job summary

Laurel Ridge Community College is seeking a part-time EMS Laboratory Instructor to deliver and supervise EMS skills training in the Frederick campus labs. The role requires ensuring student competency, equipment safety, and proper PPE usage, with duties including timesheet submissions and lab oversight.

Qualifications include EMT/paramedic or RN EMS experience, and an associate degree (or higher) in EMS or related field.

Qualifications

• EMS credentialing and current licensure.
• Experience teaching or training preferred.
• Ability to assess psychomotor and affective competency.

Responsibilities

• Delivers training or retraining on skills per standards and text.
• Evaluates psychomotor and affective competency per criteria.
• Oversees equipment and supplies to ensure safety and security.
• Restocks equipment and supplies as needed.
• Ensures proper PPE is used for each skill.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Completes College timesheets as directed.
