Job summary

Lone Star College-CyFair is seeking Part-time EMS Skills Instructors to provide hands-on EMS training in a controlled laboratory environment. You will support faculty in delivering course material and help students achieve learning objectives, with evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities include mentoring, reporting on student progress, and coordinating with clinical sites. This role offers flexible hours up to 19 per week and contributes to a growing EMS program.

Qualifications

• Two years EMS experience as a paramedic.
• Current Texas State paramedic certification/license.
• CPR certification must include adult, child and infant; required within 90 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Mentors and teaches EMSP students in the clinical environment.
• Acts as a liaison between clinical site staff and students.
• Notifies EMSP Director of incidents in the clinical environment.
• Provides regular reports of student progress.
• Acts as an ambassador of the EMSP program with clinical site and students.
• Compiles paperwork including time sheets and site evaluations.
• May perform duties of classroom and laboratory skills instructor.
