Job summary

Integrated Resource Institute in Buena Park, CA seeks an Employment Coach to mentor and support individuals with developmental disabilities at job sites in North Orange County. You will help with job development, resume building, practice interviews, and community integration.

Starting rate is $24.00/hour with mileage and cell phone reimbursement plus bonus incentives for job placements ($100–$600, prorated). Flexible evenings/weekends possible in a varied schedule, up to 18 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Two years of college or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with job development and on-the-job support preferred but not required.
• Experience supporting people with disabilities preferably in community integrated settings.
• Strong organization, communication and writing skills; proficient with computers and online platforms.
• Positive behavior support training preferred.
• Commitment to full inclusion of all persons with disabilities.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Understands and practices IRI’s mission and embraces person-centered values.
• Demonstrates respectful and dignified interaction with IRI persons served and stakeholders.
• Assists individuals with job development and on-the-job supports.
• Develops integrated work schedules and coordinates job placements.
• Maintains strong relationships with employers and circle of support.
• Completes required documents (eRSP notes, clocking, personnel file).
• Attends staff trainings and reports emergencies as needed.
