Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking an Emergency/Urgent Care support role for an 16-32 hour per week position across multiple locations including Main Campus and satellite campuses in Ohio. The role focuses on assisting with evaluation, treatment, and follow-up care of patients with wounds and orthopedic injuries under supervision.

Responsibilities include collaboration with practitioners and nurses, documentation, and contributing to resident and student education in wound care.

Qualifications

• EMT-Basic or EMT-Paramedic certification required.
• CMA or RMA certification required.
• Current BLS-CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation and treatment of patients with wounds and orthopedic injuries.
• Collaborate with Practitioners and Nurses to plan care.
• Document care and discharge instructions per policies.
• Support residents and medical students in suturing techniques and wound care.
• Perform procedures under supervision following practitioner orders.
