Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Ohio is seeking an Emergency Department/Urgent Care float position, 16-32 hours per week with 8-hour shifts from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m., and every other weekend/holiday rotation across Main Campus and other locations including Hilliard, Dublin, Marysville, and more.

Assist with evaluation and follow-up of patients with cutaneous trauma and orthopedic injuries under supervision of practitioners and RNs.

Qualifications

• EMT-Basic or EMT-Paramedic licensure required, CMA or RMA preferred.
• Current BLS-CPR certification required.
• Ability to assist in ED/urgent care settings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation and treatment of patients with trauma and orthopedic injuries under supervision.
• Support care under direction of physicians and registered nurses.
• Document care and participate in quality improvement activities.
