Study Smart is seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Elementary Math Tutor in Waldorf, MD. The role focuses on Math tutoring for elementary students, with duties including tutoring in groups, adapting to new materials, and collaborating with the Education team.

Ideal candidates will hold a 4-year degree and have in-person availability. Scheduled hours are Tuesdays and Wednesdays 4:00 PM–6:00 PM EST, with a background check or fingerprinting as required. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• MUST hold a completed 4-year degree.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
• In-person availability is required.
• Scheduled hours: Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM EST.
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.

Responsibilities

• Teach Math to students.
• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Tutors will have access to information about class assignments.

• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff.
