Job summary

Study Smart Tutors Inc in Waldorf, MD is seeking a part-time 10th Grade ELA Tutor to provide in-person tutoring sessions on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 AM to 11 AM EST. You will work with groups of students, adapt to new materials, and collaborate with the Education team to develop learning strategies.

The role requires a completed 4-year degree and teaching or tutoring experience is preferred. A background check may be required, and the position offers a competitive hourly rate of $40 with

• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
• In-person availability is required.
• Scheduled hours: Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 AM to 11 AM EST.
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Tutors will have access to information about class assignments.
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff.
