Job summary

Minnetonka Public Schools is seeking a paraprofessional to support elementary students daily. You will reinforce the classroom plan, adapt materials, and assist with small-group work in a 6.5-hour day across 184 days per year.

Qualifications

• Experience working with elementary age students.
• Strong background in math and reading.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce the instructional plan laid out by the classroom teacher and basic skills teachers by working with students individually or in small groups.
• Plan and prepare study aids such as flash cards and worksheets.
• Monitor and report the progress of individual students.
• Assist with the assessment of student progress.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
