Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering, electronics engineering technology, or a related area.
• Tested Experience Requirements: high school diploma, five years of field experience, and active journeyman’s card.
• Evidence of prior teaching experience is preferred.
• Commitment to improving student learning through innovative strategies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for a diverse college community.
• Ability to use modern educational technology, including multimedia-based instruction.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning.
• Prepare, distribute and submit syllabi for all assigned sections per department policies.
• Employ appropriate teaching strategies and use instructional technology.
• Adapt instructional methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Support classroom and online efforts to promote student success.
• Evaluate and return student work promptly to promote learning.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and submit final grade rosters on time.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Cannot exceed maximum of 12 credit hours per semester.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering or electronics engineering technology

Tested Experience: high school diploma + 5 years field experience + journeyman’s card
