Dorsey College is seeking a Part-Time Adjunct Instructor to deliver lectures and hands-on labs for the Electrical Technician Program at our Detroit campus. Instructors will connect theory to practice and guide students toward industry-ready skills.

Applicants should have electrical trade experience, basic teaching or mentoring exposure is helpful, and familiarity with NEC standards. This is an at-will, on-site teaching role with opportunities to support student placement and program needs.

Formación

• Working knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuitry, and theory.
• Familiarity with NEC and OSHA safety practices.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and teach adult learners.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver lectures and hands-on labs in the Electrical Technician Program.
• Assess student work with timely feedback and grading.
• Maintain safety in classroom and lab environments and ensure compliance with policies.
