Qualifications

• Associates degree or two years of post-high school study or a passing score on district assessment.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• General knowledge of English language arts and mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing classroom learning exercises planned by the Teacher.
• Oversee group activity in the classroom and supervise whole class for short periods.
• Assist small groups or individuals with skill reinforcement or lesson assignments.
• Present teacher-designed subject matter to students using lectures, discussions and supervised practice.
• Coordinate daily activities and instruction as directed.
• Assist in proctoring student assessments and maintaining records including attendance and grades.
