Job summary

The Richardson School, part of MyPath, is seeking an Education Support Professional to aid students with diverse academic and behavioral needs. You will support daily lessons, supervise activities, and assist with implementing IEP goals in a collaborative treatment team setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, are eligible for WI DPI education licenses, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills. School-year schedule; part-time up to 25 hours weekly with summers off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Eligible for WI DPI Instructional Aide / Special Education Aide license.
• Experience with students with disabilities helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow behavior plans and use trained de-escalation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Support classrooms across the school with daily lessons, activities, and supervision.
• Engage students in 1:1 and small-group learning to build academic and social skills.
• Assist with behavioral support using trauma-informed and de-escalation techniques.
• Help implement IEP goals and classroom strategies designed by teachers and treatment team.
• Document student progress, behavior data, and required reports.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide consistent care.
