HCA Healthcare, Inc. in Ogden, UT is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join our Emergency Department team.

You will work at the top of your license, interact with patients, families, and the care team to provide prescribed medications and ensure safe, effective pharmacotherapy in a fast-paced ED setting. This role emphasizes direct patient care, drug information support, and collaboration with emergency medicine providers.

Competenze

• Pharmacist credential required
• PHARM-CS Pharmacist - Controlled Substance
• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 1 year experience

Mansioni

• Interact with patients, their significant others, and health care team members while maintaining professional standards in serving patients of all ages.
• Provide prescribed medications, drugs, and other supplies as needed for appropriate patient care according to professional standards and practices.
• Compound and dispense prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals for patient care by performing the related duties.
• Transcribe physician prescriptions and medication orders into the CPCS system to generate a label for medication distribution.
• Act as a drug information resource to patients, medical staff, nursing staff, and ancillary department personnel; serve as a patient therapeutic advocate with efforts toward continuous quality improvement of pharmacy services
