The role involves dispensing medications, transcribing orders, preparing prescriptions, and acting as a drug information resource. A pharmacist license and at least 1 year of experience are required; PHARM-CS is preferred for controlled substances.

• PHARM-CS credential beneficial for controlled substances.
• 1 year experience required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and healthcare team while maintaining professional standards.
• Provide prescribed medications and supplies for patient care.
• Compound and dispense prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals.
• Transcribe physician prescriptions into the CPCS system to generate medication labels.
• Serve as a drug information resource and advocate for quality improvement of pharmacy services.
