Job summary

Savannah Technical College is seeking an Adjunct Early Childhood Care and Education instructor to teach in the program. This part-time, non-benefited, FLSA-exempt role covers online delivery and instruction across Liberty County and Savannah campuses, with possible travel between locations.

Responsibilities include delivering lectures and labs in face-to-face and hybrid formats, assessing student progress, and maintaining required documentation and program standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Early Childhood Education and/or Elementary Education or a master's with at least 18 graduate hours in qualifying fields.
• Three years of work experience in early childhood education within the past five years.
• Ability and willingness to work at multiple campus locations, as assigned.
• Excellent human-relations, interpersonal skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering lecture and/or lab course material in both face-to-face and hybrid formats.
• Delivering engaging classroom instruction aligned with program standards and student learning outcomes.
• Evaluating and recording students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives.
• Preparing and maintaining all required documentation and departmental reports.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Early Childhood Care and Education procedures.
