Job summary

Girls Leadership Academy of Wilmington (GLOW) is hiring a part-time Teacher Assistant to support EC students in general education and pull-out settings. You will work under the EC Coordinator to reinforce learning and assist with progress monitoring, data collection, and IEP goals.

Responsibilities include small-group instruction, clerical tasks, and maintaining confidentiality. This role offers a consistent schedule from 9:15am to 3:15pm, not exceeding 29 hours weekly, starting August 11, 2026,

Qualifications

• Experience supporting EC students in general education and pull-out settings.
• Ability to monitor progress and contribute to data collection and IEP goals.
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical behavior with student information.
• TB test from local health authority is required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Work individually and in small groups with EC students to reinforce learning.
• Assist teachers in devising strategies and monitor student performance toward goals.
• Support safety and well-being of students and encourage self-esteem.
• Perform clerical duties, maintain records, and help prepare instructional materials.
• Maintain confidentiality and support professional development of EC program.
