Job summary

Raritan Valley Community College is seeking a Part-Time Early College Admissions Coach to engage high school students and families, guiding them through the enrollment process for Early College Credits and Concurrent Enrollment. You will work with Academic Advising and K-12 Partnerships to navigate requirements, transferability, and pathways to RVCC.

Responsibilities include outreach visits, intake meetings, maintaining communications with stakeholders, and coordinating orientation events.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience delivering information to diverse populations in person, electronically and by phone.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRMs, and prior exposure to a database system.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized visits to high school students interested in Early College Programs (Early College Credit & Concurrent Enrollment).
• Conduct Early Credit Intake meetings to educate students and families about program requirements and transferability of credits.
• Maintain contact with students, families, and high school counselors in person, by phone, and/or email.
• Collaborate with Academic Advising and the Office of K-12 Partnerships to guide students in course selection and explain college-level expectations and policies.
• Organize orientation sessions, workshops, and information events for students and parents; maintain records of progress and enrollments.
• Meet with students 1-2 times per semester for check-ins; travel within assigned territory.
