Job summary

RCMA in Florida seeks a Part-Time Caregiver Trainee to provide developmentally appropriate activities in a safe, nurturing early-education setting. You will support warm, secure environments and follow daily schedules that promote physical, social, and cognitive growth for young children.

Education requirements include high school completion; Level 2 credentials or alternatives such as FCCPC, Infant Toddler CDA, ECPC, CCAC, or 9 college credits in ECE with 3 months teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school completion (or equivalent) is highly recommended.
• Level 2 credentials or one of the following: FCCPC Birth-5, Infant Toddler/National CDA, Preschool/National CDA, ECPC, CCAC, or 9 college credits in ECE with 3 months teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Support a warm, secure, affectionate, social-emotional climate for young children.
• Follow daily schedules and plans that support physical, social, and cognitive growth.
• Follow rules and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy classroom and outside environment.
• Be an engaged partner with families.
• Meet RCMA funding and DCF requirements.
