Job summary

Redlands Christian Migrant Association (RCMA) is hiring a Part-Time Caregiver Trainee to provide developmentally appropriate activities in a nurturing early childhood program. You will help create a warm, secure climate for young children while supporting physical, social, and cognitive growth and working with families.

Level 1/2 progression includes training to meet RCMA funding and DCF requirements, with potential to advance after completing appropriate credentials and exams.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school completion is highly recommended.
• Transcript documentation for DCF Child Care Training is required for Level 1.
• Level 2 options include FCCPC Birth-5 years, Infant Toddler National CDA, Preschool National CDA, ECPC, CCAC, or 9 college credits in ECE plus 3 months field experience.

Responsibilities

• Support a warm, secure, affectionate, social-emotional climate for young children.
• Follow daily schedules and plans to support physical, social, and cognitive growth.
• Maintain a safe and healthy classroom and outdoor environment.
• Engage with families and act as a teaching partner.
• Meet RCMA funding and DCF requirements.

Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) Birth-5 years

9 college credits in early childhood education and 3 months experience in teaching children birth-5 years
