Job summary

Redlands Christian Migrant Association in Florida is seeking a Part-Time Caregiver Trainee to provide developmentally appropriate activities in a safe, nurturing environment for young children and their families, supporting early learning and family engagement.

You will learn to support a warm, secure climate, follow daily schedules, maintain classroom safety, be an engaged partner with families, and meet RCMA funding and DCF requirements while contributing to a team of educators.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school completion is highly recommended.
• FCCPC Birth-5 years, Infant Toddler National CDA, Preschool National CDA, ECPC, CCAC or equivalent credentials are required or preferred for Level 2.
• 9 college credits in early childhood education and 3 months of teaching experience in birth-5 years may meet minimum education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily schedules and plans that support physical, social, and cognitive growth.
• Follow rules and procedures that establish and maintain a safe and healthy classroom and outdoor environment.
