Job summary
Rowan is seeking a friendly Retail Store Associate for our Broadway Plaza location in Walnut Creek, CA. This part-time role focuses on greeting clients, educating them about ear piercing services and jewelry, and delivering a celebratory, safe experience.
You will handle inventory, keep the studio clean, and support day-to-day operations, including tech system management. Weekend availability is required, and compensation is $18-20 per hour plus commission, with 401k and Roth IRA plans and
Qualifications
- Retail or sales experience is preferred.
- Experience with jewelry, ear piercing, or service/hospitality is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with ownership mindset.
- Positive, high-energy attitude with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Greet ear piercing clients and jewelry shoppers.
- Educate customers about Rowan piercing services and products.
- Support the needs of ear piercing clients and shoppers.
- Improve store efficiency and processes for a seamless experience.
- Restock jewelry and piercing materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterility of the studio.
- Perform bi-weekly inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
- Manage technology and software systems.
