Job summary

Harbor is seeking a part-time EAP Therapist to join the Toledo team. The role provides short-term, solution-focused counseling to employees and their families, with 20 hours per week, including 5 after 5PM.

Responsibilities include individual, family, and group counseling, telehealth delivery, and staff training. The position requires a Master's degree in Counseling/Social Work or related field, an independent Ohio license (LISW/LPCC/Ph.D), and CEAP within 1 year.

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work or related Behavioral/Mental health field from an accredited college or university.
• Requires independent license to practice as a Social Worker/ Counselor/Psychologist in Ohio (LISW, LPCC, Ph.D)
• Must be CEAP within 1 year of part-time employment or prorated for part-time.
• CPR/First Aid and NCI/CPI Certifications required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains responsibility for individual, family and/or group counseling of EAP and clinical clients, of all ages.
• Provides telehealth services for assigned clients utilizing Harbor approved Telemedicine equipment.
• Provides confidential and timely problem identification services for employee clients with personal concerns that may be affecting job performance.
• Provides consultation, training, and assistance to work organization leadership to manage troubled employees and improve performance.
• Completes discharge or linkage to other services as needed.
• Completes clinical documentation in Harbor's format and submits according to policy.
• Develops training curriculum and materials on employee-management topics and presents trainings.
• Facilitates referrals to internal/external resources as indicated.
• Promotes availability of EAP services to current and prospective clients.
