Job summary

Mendocino-Lake Community College District is seeking a part-time, temporary DSPS/DRC Coordinator to lead services ensuring equal access for students with verified disabilities. The role involves coordinating program operations, staff support, and liaison work with schools, agencies, and community partners.

The position is up to 10 hours per week at $60.00 per hour, with a duration of 6-18 months and eligible benefits as described in the salary schedule.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience in DSPS/DRC programs or accessibility services is preferred.
• Knowledge of disability laws and accommodations.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and evaluate DSPS programs.
• Experience collaborating with faculty, staff, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and oversees DSPS/DRC program services and activities.
• Lead Program Review and assess Service Learning Outcomes.
• Coordinate accommodations and assistive technology for students with disabilities.
• Manage budgets, records, and contracts related to DSPS programs.
• Collaborate with college staff and external partners to support accessibility and inclusion.

Education

Master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling or related field

Master’s degree in counseling, guidance counseling, student personnel, clinical or counseling psychology, education counseling, social work, career development, marriage and family therapy, marriage, family and child counseling

Bachelor’s degree in marriage and family therapy or marriage, family and child counseling with an active MFT license

15 semester units related to people with disabilities or equivalent graduate practicum/fieldwork in DSPS

Two years of full-time equivalent experience counseling students with disabilities or in related settings
