Job summary

Alpha Health Services is seeking a part-time DSP to provide one-on-one support to a participant in home and community settings. You will follow the ISP, transport to activities, and help with daily living while promoting independence and safety.

This role involves personal care, documentation of progress, and collaboration with a care team, with approximately 30 hours per week and a flexible daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a DSP or direct care role is required.
• Valid PA driver's license, active auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to document progress and follow ISP.
• Willingness to complete PA ODP trainings and clearances.

Responsibilities

• Transport participant to activities and appointments per ISP goals.
• Provide personal care support with dignity and respect.
• Encourage community participation and social inclusion.
• Monitor changes in health or behavior and report to supervisor
• Document participant behavior, progress, and changes accurately
• Implement individualized care plans for the participant's needs
• Assist with meals and accommodate dietary needs
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
• Collaborate with care team and family members
• Complete required PA ODP training and maintain certifications
