Job summary

Alpha Health Services is a Pennsylvania-based provider of community-based support for individuals with IDD and autism. This part-time DSP position offers about 16 hours per week in-home and in the community, typically 2 pm–7 pm with one weekend day.

Prior DSP experience is preferred; female is preferred by the client. Responsibilities include transporting the participant, providing personal care, promoting independence, and documenting progress while maintaining HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a direct support professional (DSP) or in a direct care role is required.
• Valid PA driver’s license, active auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Transport participant to community activities and appointments.
• Provide personal care support with dignity and respect.
• Support community participation and social inclusion.
• Monitor health, behavior, and status; report to supervisor.
• Document participant progress and changes accurately.
• Follow ISP and implement individualized care plans.
