Job summary

Alpha Health Services is a Pennsylvania ODP-certified provider of community-based support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and autism. This part-time DSP role focuses on one-on-one participant support in the home and community, following the ISP, providing transportation, promoting independence, and documenting progress with a trusted caregiver relationship.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a DSP or in direct care/caregiving role (required).
PA driver's license, active auto insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

Transport participant to activities and outings per ISP.
Provide personal care support with dignity and respect.
Support community participation and social inclusion.
Monitor health, behavior, or condition and report to supervisor.
Document participant behavior, progress, and changes in status.
Implement individualized care plans tailored to the participant's needs.
Assist with meal preparation and dietary needs/restrictions.
Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
Collaborate with the care team including supervisors, healthcare professionals, and family.
Complete PA ODP training and maintain certifications.
