Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Driving Security Officer in Salinas, CA. You will patrol retail areas, monitor access, and deliver excellent customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent. This role offers flexible day schedules and a platform to claim additional shifts. Background checks and drug screening will be conducted where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and drug screening may be required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols in retail common areas, parking areas, and store perimeters.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting concerns per site procedures.
• Assist with traffic flow, parking-related concerns, lost property, and other customer service needs.
