Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Driving Role in Salinas, CA to protect clients across Retail/Malls and other sites. You can build a flexible schedule using our Claim a Shift platform and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment.

You will perform security procedures, monitor access, respond to incidents, and assist with traffic flow and customer service needs while maintaining professional presence and adherence to site policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.
• Guard card/license is preferred.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and employees.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of retail areas, parking lots, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and report concerns per site procedures.
• Assist with traffic flow and other customer service needs.
