Job summary

The State of New Hampshire's Driver Education and Pupil Transportation program is seeking a part-time Program Assistant in Concord, NH. You will support administrative duties, assist schools and instructors, and manage databases and applications with attention to state motor vehicle laws and rules.

The role requires at least 3 years of education/experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel statewide. Fingerprint and background checks are mandatory during selection.

Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of 3 years of education and experience after completion of high school.
• Valid driver’s license or access to transportation for statewide travel.
• Fingerprint background and motor vehicle record checks required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and coordinating the Driver Education program and updating databases and records.
• Answer questions from schools, instructors, fleets, and the public and process applications and forms.
• Maintain and verify driver rosters and records for the Pupil Transportation Program.
• Prepare and mail denial letters when necessary and ensure compliance with state laws and rules.
