Job summary

Morada Senior Living is seeking a Driver at Shavano Park Senior Living to join our team. This position is about 25 hours per week and will include Sunday morning shifts.

You will provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to activities, assist with wheelchair access, and ensure safety during trips. The Driver will maintain vehicles and support registration and documentation as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• CDL may be required with an acceptable driving record in accordance with Federal DOT regulations.
• Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Must be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety measures.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to and from activities.
• Assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices.
• Communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
• Maintain community vehicles in good working condition.
• Clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assist with vehicle registration and license plates renewal process.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition monthly and per trip.

Our community, Shavano Park Senior Living is looking for a Driver to join our team. This position is about 25 hours per week and will include Sunday morning shifts. Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing timely and courteous transportation for the residents to and from various activities while providing quality service.
• Assists disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
• Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
• Safely operates radio, cell phone or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
• Maintains all community vehicles in good working condition.
• Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assists with vehicle registration and license plates renewal process.
• Inspects and documents vehicle condition on a monthly and per trip basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Current commercial driver’s license (CDL) may be required with an acceptable driving record in accordance with Federal Department of Transportation regulations.
• Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Must be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety measures.
• Competent in organization, time management skills and handling multiple priorities.
