Job summary

Wesley Willows in Rockford, IL is seeking a part-time Driver to provide safe, courteous transportation for residents. You will ensure timely trips and assist with mobility needs while adhering to safety rules.

Applicants must have CDL Class 3 with passenger endorsement, a clean MVR, and at least three years of passenger transport experience. The role offers day shifts and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Valid Illinois or Wisconsin CDL Class 3 with passenger endorsement.
• Clean moving vehicle record (MVR) per DOT and company policy.
• Minimum of three years' experience in passenger transportation.
• Ability to read and complete driver trip sheets and internal communications.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for residents, following safety rules.
• Transport residents to medical appointments, shopping, events, and outings.
• Assist residents with boarding/exiting vehicles and accommodate mobility needs safely.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient vehicle fleet; conduct routine safety inspections weekly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Transportation Supervisor or Director of Resident Services.

What You'll Do:

• Providesafe, reliable, and courteous transportation services for residents of the community, upholding all safety and traffic regulations.
• Ensureresidents are transported to medical appointments, shopping trips, community events, and other outings in a timely and professional manner.
• Assistresidents with boarding and exiting vehicles, demonstratingattentiveness to special mobility needs while following safety protocols.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment, including conducting routine safety inspectionsand preventative maintenance on vehicles weekly.
• Complete all other related duties as requested by the Transportation Supervisor or the Director of Resident Services.

What You'll Need:
