Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is hiring a part-time Driver to transport residents safely and courteously. The role requires 24 hours per week and a valid driver's license. You will ensure resident safety and assist with daily transport needs in a friendly, professional manner.

Applicants should have a high school diploma (or equivalent), be at least 21, pass background checks, and hold first aid/CPR certification. We value compassion for the elderly and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and general public.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable, courteous transportation for residents.

Details About The Driver Position We Are Hiring For

Part time driver position - 24 hours/week.

As a driver you will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, courteous and efficient transportation service for our residents. Responsibilities in this role will also include preparing the bus for operation, maintaining bus, and taking the initiative to ensure resident safety and satisfaction is a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a valid and active driver's license.
• Meet motor vehicle records clearance requirements.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and general public.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual
• Must possess current first aid and CPR certification.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks
