Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers in Phenix City, AL is seeking a part-time Donor Door Greeter to welcome donors and process donations using a handheld device. You will also assist customers and help maintain donation records, with cross-training to learn all retail operations.

The role offers a part-time schedule (~20–25 hours/week) with variable shifts across the week, and duties span greeting donors, processing items, and supporting store operations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to use a hand-held electronic device.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Prior experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors quickly and provide excellent customer service.
• Operate tasks independently and follow procedures.
• Receive donated goods from donors and process with a hand-held device.
• Provide receipts to donors and maintain donation records.
• Organize donations into bins to aid processing.
• Perform opening and closing tasks for the ADC and keep areas tidy.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
• Work in other retail areas as needed by leadership.
