Job summary

Kids In Crisis seeks a warm, outgoing, relationship-driven fundraiser to join our Development team as a part-time Individual Giving Officer. This frontline, community-facing role focuses on building meaningful relationships with individual donors, prospects, volunteers, and community partners, and growing philanthropic support for Kids In Crisis.

The Individual Giving Officer will cultivate a portfolio of donors and prospects, with emphasis on supporters giving $500 and above, while helping

Qualifications

2–3 years of fundraising or related relationship-building experience.
Experience with individual donors, community organizations, or volunteers is strongly preferred.
Excellent writing and communication skills, including donor correspondence.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends for donor meetings and events.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with individual donors and prospects, focusing on $500+ supporters.
Conduct donor meetings, coffees, tours, and personal touchpoints.
Develop cultivation and stewardship plans based on donor interests.
Re-engage lapsed donors and deepen existing relationships.
Maintain accurate donor records in the CRM.
