Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, LP in Onalaska, WI is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist. The role involves greeting donors, performing venipuncture, and supporting plasma center operations. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and contribute to high-quality donor care.

The position requires availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training is paid and designed to help you grow within a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs, with occasional lifts up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs.
• Glove wear for many tasks due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and handle disposal of materials.
• Record donor vital signs and enter data into the information system.
• Coordinate donors to the donor floor and manage compensation via Debit Card system.
• Assist center management with continuous improvement initiatives.
