Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to walk or stand for entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Lifting up to 5 lbs regularly; up to 32 lbs occasionally; rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination and ability to hear equipment from distance.
• 90% of tasks require glove wear due to exposure risk.
• 1+ year experience in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System and maintain donor charts and records; coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational improvements and initiate changes to center processes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
